Simply Amazing the sacrifices our Service Men make.

I have always been very grateful for all of the Service Men that serve in our armed forces. It is incredible to me the sacrifices they make to make sure we live in the greatest country in the world and to ensure our freedom.

While I have always been grateful, I have not always been emotional about it. After watching this video, and several others like it, I find myself with tears rolling down my cheeks.

The greatest sacrifice in the world for me would to be away from my family. As I was watching this video it struck close to home because this little girl is close in age to my daughter, Lexi.

This little girl is such a sweetheart and I loved seeing how proud she is of her father. What a special video and what a special relationship between Father and Daughter!

Thank you for your service!

Today – Motivational Speech

What can I say? I am a sucker for a good motivational speech.

This has always been one of my favorite speeches:

Decide Today how you are going to walk out of here when it is all said and done.

My 2011 Bracket is officially BUSTED!

Wow. With the loss today by Kansas my bracket is officially busted. Not that it looked great before the Kansas game, it just had a chance to look better if they would have won it all since I picked them.

I have had a 4 year streak of successfully picking the winner in the tournament. That all came screaching to a halt today!

Looking back I wish I would have picked BYU to win it all. They are my favorite team and this may have been the last year that it would have made sense to pick them to win it all. Does anybody else feel guilty when they don’t pick their favorite team to win it all? For some reason I feel like less of a fan when I pick somebody else to beat them, no matter how good the other team is.

VCU vs. Butler is a huge surprise. I am excited to see two teams that aren’t usually in the tournament making deep runs and beating the regulars.
